In an examination of the human psyche, elements disintegrate as underlying instincts are a-gettin' closer.
Through Let Me Go, director and choreographer, Alyssa Casey investigates the definitions and expectations of society, and how these can be diminished to uncover a new understanding of oneself and the world. The work examines the true essence of the human experience by depicting the disintegration of the dancers’ humanity, as they are consumed by their own animalistic wants and desires. Via a twisted journey of love, Let Me Go aims to question what exactly lives at the core of each individual. |
